Good News1.
I got it to work.
I have a Monster 696 as well.
I tried using that and got pretty much exactly the same resuits.....even when I tried with the Key OFF.
I did not believe that to be right.
Tried other USB ports, and finally found one that would work.
I have submitted for both licenses ...

Here is the data with the "Any Bike" ECU setting.

Yes, the other position, and also oher speeds. Everything but the current setting resilts in popups complaining that communications is not working.
In this setting at least I get a lot of blinking green and yellow lights.
If i switch to the "all bikes" setting I also get a lot of blinking lights ...
