new gear sensor, as the new one wouldnt relearn the gears coming down the box, dealer said as soon as they fitted the new one it work straight away.

apparently the gear reset locks the starter motor preventing the bike to start on panigales.

just picked bike up after two weeks waiting for a new gear position sensor as it would only learn going up the gearbox and not down.

to the sum of £375 lesson learnt dont mess about with things you dont fully understand

if the procedure need the engine to run , i'm affraid you have no choice

After a search on ChatGPT once you’ve done a gear reset it locks out the starter for safety which is odd as you need to run the bike to re learn the gears.

Thanks for the reply, I did a gear reset as I’ve had the indicator saying it’s in first when actually in neutral from time to time And now I’m getting a flashing neutral and C, I’ve found ...
