btw what pin code I must enter after reset? 00000 ?

ok it says ecu don't support this command.
maybe ducati don't use this command we can try a few ones different if you are not scare to reset other things like gears etc ..



once pin code is reset to 0000, it shall ask you to define a new one i guess

I think we can try it, no problem but I will read the eeprom content as backup with a programmer first .

With the model of Ducati you must receive unique code card with the bike. This code is coded inside your screen or ECU Iam not sure. But I am sure that there is no way to reset this secret code, it is set from factory. If you loose your both keys you need this code, if you loose the key card you need new dashboard and key set and card together. There are some guys who can manually enter your ECU and figure out the embedded code, you can check online.

I have taken away this code from my bike already.. I have read the eeprom to do this. So finally I have done to do pre-code a new key and wrote it to the bike.
