ELM327 V1.5 --> Melcodiag connects but not retrive data

Hi to all,

Bike: MTS 1200 S DVT year 2015

Issue: ELM327 adapter V1.5 connects to Melcodiag 2.4.0.8 but is unable to retrieve the information from the ECU.

The adapter used is that one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/335810610943
After a couple of weeks of testing and troubleshooting, I have determined that some adapters are compatible, regardless of the chip mounted.
I understand the best chip is the FTDI, but I also read that some people were able to connect with other chip types.
I tried to play with the USB Serial drivers port and speed, but as a result, still present the same negative outcome.

it looks like it's not compatible , we had many problem like yours with v1.5

looks lonelec , obdauto , bmdiag website for models that works
