Introduction: 2014 Ducati Panigale 1199R

I have a Panigale as stated in title. I downloaded Melcodiag, waiting now for my cables so that I can request license. I will update this topic when things are received, but hoping to get the license if possible prior to receiving so I won't have to wait long! I possibly have a MAP sensor issue but unsure what my steps should be. Issue as follows:

Mechanic was doing coolant flush on my bike. On third coolant flush, CEL shows up and idle seems quite rough (as if MAP sensor failure). Same part number was purchased and replaced on bike (both MAP sensors). CEL persists, but idle sounds slightly cleaner and less sputtery/loud. Mechanic stated to me while doing coolant flushes, he did not allow bike to reach past 120F. I initially thought heat soak within garage caused faulty MAP sensor. Although now replaced, CEL persists, I am unsure if code must be cleared using Melcodiag, or if I must do MAP calibration. Any advice would be super helpful! I have pictures of vacuum lines connected to sensors; I am skeptical there is a leak given that there was no light prior to mechanic doing flushes. Please let me know what I should look out for, I am not a mechanic just a beginner, but don't want to spend so much $$$. Thank you!

you can check error code on the dashboard ?
without knowing the error code nobody can guess what bring it on .
i did the Map calibratrion on mine , but i have not noticed any differences.

Hi,

Cables arrived, and code is reading to be P100D - Exhaust Valve Potentiometer (short circuit to ground or open circuit). Since I am a beginner, I don't know what this is. I was not working on anything regarding the exhaust. Is it possible something is unplugged, or is this a major issue? Thanks for any advice.

1- delete defaut , and check if it comes back
2- try to move the exhaust valve with melcodiag , check the loom , and the motor

How do I move the exhaust valve with Melcodiag? Ducati 1199R comes with full termi exhaust, so it seems there is already no servo motor. When I checked the plug, there is already a 'servo buddy' or cap on the plug. I am a beginner, so I may be wrong.

I forgot to add, I tried to clear the code and it did not go away.

so you need to reflash or plug a servo valve emulator

I plugged in a servo buddy, and it did not get rid of P100D. I even ran the bike up to temperature and tried to see if it would go away, and it did not.

I am lost for why it will not clear the code.
