The P0482 error code on 2009 Ducati Monster 696 (M3C ECU)

Post by shwartz »

Hi all, I'm getting a P0482 error code on my 2009 Ducati Monster 696. My bike is a model that does not come equipped with a cooling fan. This code usually points to a fan control circuit issue. For those familiar with the 696, what system component or sensor might be mimicking a fan circuit error on a bike that doesn't have one? Could it be a faulty engine temperature sensor or a related relay/wiring that's causing this misfire? Any guidance on diagnosing P0482 when there's no physical fan would be appreciated!

Sounds not so good as I couldn't expected :(
Is it possible somehow to be connected with faulty lambda or wrong mounted belts, which means wrong phases? How would the ECU knows about what's going on on the exhaust? :?

not the valve inside the head , but the one controlled by an electric motor in your exhaust line
