Hi there,
I have the same issue on my 2015 DVT, it also has the 10S software (the software on the bike).
One thing I have noticed, if you change the date on the bike, then run the Melco (2.0.4.9) and select get service date then it returns the date you have set on the bike - not sure if its getting todays date rather than the service reset date. Not sure if this might help?

As the software doesn't work on my MTS. Ive resorted to changing the date on mine to remove the service light. You need to take the date back to when it was last reset.

Thats exactly what I ended up doing with mine!
