Hello.
I have a similar problem with resetting the service warning.
The message about service only pops up when the ignition is turned on for the first 2-3 seconds, the key lights up and the odometer shows how many kilometers are left until service (example -7000).
This warning is not reset.

I've just tried again with date changed for 2026, but there is still no result.

When ignition is turned on, service light pops up and also the number of kms left until next service ~6200 and it doesn't change after reset buttons.

Should I wait until the 6200 kms countdown is over and Desmo light is raised, then try again ? In the past, when desmo service light was raised, v2.0.2.4 worked and desmo light was erased and countdown was set back to 30k Kms.

do you remember the version that worked ?
i'd be curious you test with the same one

yes, in the past I used the "desmo reset" button with v2.0.2.4 and it worked.

so we have no software regression , it's a good news for me
maybe you have to wait the km countdown yes

Yes, I'll wait for the "desmo service" light when the countdown is over and then I'll try again.

Km countdown reached zero, service light popped up on the dash and I've just tried again to reset and it worked. So this was the catch. You have to wait for the countdown to end and then reset. Thanks a lot for your work !

PS: Is there an easier way to support your work with a donation beside paypal ? Maybe revolut ?

Maybe this has already been discussed, but I want to share my experience with the Monster 821 MY2018.
If the dashboard DATE and Clock are not correctly SET, the OIL, Annual, and Desmo resets will not work.
It is not necessary to complete the remaining indicated km , on the dashboard.
I think it's the same for the Monster 1200, but I haven't tried it yet.

what are you calling the clock ? computer clock ?
