I took the bike back to the shop and they sent it key m over to ducati main dealer who couldn't reset the light. They've contacted the ducati factory for a code.
No idea what the issue is as they couldn't explain it.
Any idea what the code could be for?

sorry about the delay in posting this, i managed to speak to Ducati directly. apparently the ECU and BBS didnt agree on mileage so it wouldn't allow their computer to reset. Ducati HQ had to send a special code to make the 2 talk together.
apparently the serials all matched up and so was some kind of corruption.

they prolly needed the seed/key to program the bbs to synch it with the ecu
