My bike is a 2011 Multistrada 1200S
I am running MelcoDiag on a Windows 11 laptop and have used both a USB and Bluetooth ELM V1.4 devices to connect the bike to the laptop. I have had the Bluetooth ELM1.4 working with an Aprillia using TuneECU.
I can connect to the bike and the software attempts to read the VIN but comes back with no values. It then asks to selcet "yes" for a 2011 bike or "no" for a 2012. It then reports "getting software". Once that process has finished I then select the "resets" tab but when clicking "Service Interval" MelcoDiag becomes unresponsive and I have to stop the program via task manager. I notice that when running MelcoDiag without connected to the bike and selecting the "Resets" tab I received the warning about UMAP back-up but when connected to the bike I do not appear to get this warning message when clicking on "Resets" tab, I am running MelcoDiag in Adminsitrator mode and tried checking the box for running in Compatability with Windows 8 but there is no difference. i will check the freeze issue
but yo can press get licence button after you select the year of your bike .
button will be ungrayed once you will have the licence

By way of an update, the application appears to work but freezes/becomes unresponsive after every action. For example, it has reset the oil service reminder and then froze. I restarted the application and tested the cooling fan, the fans started as soon as I clicked the test button but the application froze and would not respond.
