In the past, I reset my 796 with the same PC and cables. Years later, I bought the 1100 EVO, and it also connected and reset without a problem. But now I try to connect it to the bike, but it doesn't work. It doesn't even read the serial number from the ECU; it's as if it doesn't recognize the USB. I have the FTDI drivers, but I can't connect it, not even through Melcodiag or M3C. On my computer, it connects to COM 8 at 9600. Any suggestions?

you shall change com speed 9600 to 38400 in m3c9 or melcodiag
