Hi JP,

It seems that Melcodiag is not working anymore for my Monster 821 from 2016.

2 years ago I managed to reset the desmo service using version 2.0.2.4, but today I tried again and it's not working anymore. I also tried the latest version: 2.0.4.4 and still not working. Is anything changed ?

I have to mention that last time, the desmo light could be seen on the dashboard but now it has ~7000 km until it will be raised again. Just the oil service light is seen when the key is on. But I would like to reset the oil and desmo now due to service performed.

I can see that only for reset annual the date is from today.

-7000km it seems reset
why the key is still visible on the dash , i don't know . is it maybe due annual service , what date you read for it ?

I was referring to the date from the report above. Yesterday’s date is for annual service.

Should I wait for the countdown of the ~7000 kms for the service light to appear and then try again ?

Based on the report it should work ?

Is it something changed from the last working version ?

Also this time I have low battery voltage. I need to replace the battery because the current one has under 12V. Could this be the cause ?

And I don’t think I really need the annual service reset because for this bike I didn’t see any annual service light.

I just want to reset the desmo service and oil service which worked 2 years ago, but yesterday when I tried, didn’t work anymore.

service date : 250312
is the date of your PC when you pressed annual reset
you can try to change your pc date +1 year and press button again
