When I connect to my Monster 1200S the software is reading out the data of bike as expected. When I try to read out error codes in the DTC menu I get the message in the dialogbox: "no answer from ... " ? Does anybody know why I caant readout the error code (DTC) ?

did you make a scan to find all available ecu and check DTC on each ones ?

Thanks for help. I scanned for different ECUs and got a list of four. I could get answers from two. When I delete the errors from one of these the error message in the cockpit disappeared for a short time but is coming back after a few seconds. The message in the MelcoDiag box is :
2 defaults recorded at 7DF
P0413
Status: 20
P0113
Status: 20
Are these the error codes ?

if you put EnDTCM.dll in the melcodiag folder , you would have the translation
P0413 [ECU] Secondary Air Injection System Switching Valve A Circuit Open
P0113 [ECU] Intake air temperature value error [Short circuit to positive or open circuit]
those errors are permanent if they come back
interesting you get those of 7df ( generic broadcast PID) , it's possible one ecu hasn't been listed by scan button , and replied to 7df

Thanks a lot for the help. I could fix all of the errors. It was the first time for me that I had to remove the airbox in order to replace the cooleant reservoir. I just forgot to connect the two connectors for SAI valve and air temp sensor. The software is really a big help.
