Hello to all bike owners!
Basic information:
• Bike: Ducati Streetfighter V4 S 2021
• Software: MelcoDiag v.2.0.4.4
• License file: Accepted and exists in the path folder
• Adapter: OBD FTDI (Modified ELM327, v1.5 PIC18F25K80 + FTDI chip)
• OS: Windows 7 x64 + Driver for FTDI

I am experiencing some issues with the maintenance of my bike, a Ducati Streetfighter V4 S 2021, with the VIN code ZDM1F00AAMB002000, which I purchased from Japan https://motopodbor.com/1841431

1. First Problem:
When I connect to my bike using MelcoDiag, it says “Connect successful.” However, when I try to retrieve data such as “engine temp,” “RPM,” or “mileage” on the main page tab, it displays strange and incorrect data. For example:

• The engine temperature shows -40°C,

• The RPM shows ~800 rpm,

even though the bike’s engine is not running—only the ignition key is in the “on” position.

2. Second Issue:
On the DTC tab, when I press the “scan for ECUs” button, it lists some ECUs. However, when I select any of them, the program says it cannot connect to or read the ECU.

3. Third Issue:
On the Resets tab, when I attempt to reset the dash pin because the previous owner from Japan did not provide me with the code , the program hides the image of the pin code and only shows the “reset dash pin” button. I have tried pressing it, but my bike does not react to this action, and I still cannot change or reset the dash pin.

Additionally, I have tried the Active Tests and Passive Tests tabs, but only the “keys” section shows some data. If I try to check indicators such as “brake switch” or “left indicator,” the program does not respond.
I do not understand why this is happening. Could it be because of the “No ECU data” mentioned in the letter with the license? I can share my experience with a video, screenshots, or a log file if needed.

I would greatly appreciate any advice on my situation, as:

• I cannot reset the dash pin (I have tried many variants, such as standard passwords like 1111, 0000, 1234, and even the last four digits of my VIN).

• I cannot switch my service interval to the next period.

There are no specialists or bike services near me (within 2000 km) who can help me solve this problem, determine the pin code for my bike, or reset the maintenance message.

for issue 1 , i know it's not finalized for this bike
for issue 2 , try to press dtc button without scanning any ecu at 1st
for issue 3 i still have an option to try , i'll send you it by pm , no warranty it works neither

Thanks for the private message but I have a problem to show this tab. May I ask you a detailed instruction for it in private messages. Because I don't understand where I need to put program key into.

there is no specific place to enter this key , only focus on the melcodiag windows and type it

Hello I have tested your manual from private message, but no luck with button "reset dash pin" - nothing happens. Here it is my screenshot with active tab:

have you tried with different bike type ?

No. What is the numbers can I try for my bike?

1 , 2 ,3 ,8

according to the log i confirm you only did bike 2 command
don't forget to press bike button when you try a new value , and don't initiatz a new connection , go directly to reset tab
