Hi

I'm able to connect to the bike, although it shows VIN it shows no ECU type. It also shows the bike as 2019 but not sure that matters?

I sent off for a licence and got it back (blue "get licence" button has now disappeared). I try to reset the annual service but nothing works

you have not much data displayed ,it means i have to improve melcodiag

Check you are actually clicking the correct button for what service you want cleared.

I thought it was not working for me, then I realized I was clicking the Oil Service Reset button NOT the annual service button (2018 1260s Multi)

I have diavel 1260S 2022. Reset of PIN is not working. In the report shows "CAN ERROR" (I have 6 pin connector). What it means and what can I do?

it means i maybe not sending the right command for your bike or i simply cannot send it cause it could be key protected and i don't have the key algorythm yet

for the can error, your elm return it cause its buffere is prolly flooded , if you can see some data like VIN , it's not a big deal

Yes I'm definitely clicking the annual service button

Does that mean the cable is working?

In that topic someone seems to have the same issue as me and you've said MelcoDiag can't determine the bike, however on mine you've said everything is fine

Is mine fine despite having the same blank ECU type & hardware as displayed in the screenshot on the above topic?

I'm trying to figure out firstly is the cable I have working?

Secondly is MelcoDiag meant to be able to service reset a 2019/2020 Diavel 1260? If so then what's going wrong?

yes your bike is fully recognized "Auto Detect Bike = Diavel 2019"
and i don't know yet why you can't succeed to reste , maybe i need to fix something, but i don't know what
