The problem was that I used the wrong port on my bike. This port however had the right pinout to power the OBD adapter with 12V, which probably caused the effect I had.
I contacted lonelec today. Turns out the connector I’ve been trying to use only workss for data logging, despite being the same connector used on other Ducatis for OBD… The 848 has a 3 Pin connector, which means I need a different adapter and new OBD tool.

I'm trying to reset the service light on my Streetfighter 848. It has an IAW5 ECU, and I'm using JPDiag. I'm using the same setup I used a few years ago on my Hypermotard 796: an ELM327 interface with an adapter cable that worked fine back then.
