I used an OBDLINK MX+ via bluetooth. Any bike, 38400 baud, and was able to get the VIN.

I've requested a license.

Just a note, sometimes at 9600, 38.4, or 57.6, I got "5" for "Software Version" instead of the 12000000. Not sure if that is significant to you, JP.
