Advice Needed: ELM327 Compatibility with My Ducati Multistrada 1200S - 2016

Hi everyone,

I ride a 2016 Ducati Multistrada 1200S and I’ve just downloaded the software and bought the Ducati adapter. However, I’ve read that I also need an ELM327. Could you please suggest me some reliable links or models to buy?

Also, I’ve seen on the forum that several users with the same bike as mine have reported issues, since the ECU doesn’t seem to communicate properly with Melcodiag. Is that correct? If so, does it still make sense to purchase an ELM327, or will it not work with my bike anyway?

check obdauto , lonelec, bmdiag for reliable cables
not 100% functions will works , but you shall have some tests and DTC working
and maybe resets if it's not a 10sw software
