Can you help with a COM issue. The MelcoDiag interface seems to be communicating, but the Get License process is not working due to the rquired missing information. Also, the debug report is showing reading errors and indication partial reading.

I was able to generate a license file and I am able to read from with ecu, but most functions are still inactive. The license file does not seem to be working. I did not modify the file name, placed it in the same folder with the melcodiag.exe and unblocked the file. The "Get license" button in the UI is still present. Any suggestions? The bike is a 2012 Ducati Panigale S with a Mitsubishi ECU. Why would the lic file not register?

I give up on this software. The registration process is just not working, no matter what you try. Very frustrating. I will look for other software Diagnostic solutions.

i'd prefer avoid the registartion process ,it ask me a lot of energy as well
but without it , some people were selling my sofware 500€ on ebay.
i'm protecting you with the registration
if you have no patience to understand why you fail , good luck hope you 'll have more luck with paying tools

I understand the reasoning, but the current registration process seems unnecessarily complicated based on the FAQ. I spent several hours attempting registration 25-30 times before finally getting a license file—which still doesn't work properly.

The software successfully connects and reads ECU type, HW, SW, and VIN. I can pull real-time data and generate reports, but none of this information carries over to the 'Get License' function. Manual VIN entry also fails. Is there a more straightforward licensing workflow, or are there known issues with the license generation that could explain this behavior?
