Connected software for the first time. Got a message that port name cannot be empty, and bike has gone dead. Cannot turn it on! Help!!

OK. Bike has just woken up again after a few minutes. Not sure if I should try again?

if the comport is not showing up , nothing has been sent to the bike.
are you sure you are not shorten the can bus with your interface ?
