MelcoDiag service reset with Ducati Racing / UpMap – Multistrada 1260S & Diavel 1260S

Hello everyone,

I have two Ducati motorcycles and I’m starting to think about doing the servicing myself. Recently I have a bit more free time and would like to take care of maintenance on my own.

The first bike is a Ducati Multistrada 1260S, which I bought new in 2018. It has a Termignoni exhaust with full Decat and a Ducati Racing map, originally installed using the official Ducati USB dongle (which I still have).

The second bike is a Ducati Diavel 1260S from 2021, the last production version of this model, in graphite black with yellow accents. This bike also has a full Decat and titanium Termignoni exhaust. The Ducati Racing map was installed during the exhaust installation, but in this case it was done remotely without a USB dongle.

On both motorcycles, when the ignition is turned on, the Ducati Racing logo appears on the display.

I would like to start doing my own servicing and after completing the maintenance reset the service interval using MelcoDiag.

My question for those who already have experience with this:

Has anyone here reset the service on Ducati motorcycles that have a Ducati Racing / UpMap installed?

The software shows a warning that it may not work with an UpMap.
Is this actually a problem or does it work normally?
Is there any specific procedure if the motorcycle has a Ducati Racing / UpMap installed?

One more question.
Can anyone recommend a reliable shop where I can buy diagnostic cables for Ducati (MelcoDiag / JPDiag)? Preferably within Europe but outside the UK, so the delivery is faster.

the warning is always shown , it aim 2010 to 2012 models in particular because we have seen bbs and ecu may loose the map synchronisation.
The umap donlge fail to resynchronise it
