2015 Scrambler Classic TPS Readings, Replace or Reset (idle issues and surging at 3k rpm)??

Post by Scrambled16 »

I am connecting to the melcodiag no problem, but I get not readings for TPS voltage.

I have idle issues and a surge around 3k rpm.

Connecting to Melcodiag I see TPS % moves 0-100%, TPS1 Degree moves 0-82deg with throttle, but TPS1 & 2 Voltage is 0V and same with V_TPS_1BAS and 2BAS is 0V with key on or engine on and whether throttle on or off all show 0V.

I guess only #1 values should show some Voltage as there is one throttle body. I am not sure if I should see voltage though, are these values just for the RBW throttles or bot cable and RBW?

Do I have a bad sensor, or need to reset TPS? Any thoughts? Thanks in advance :)

if you see TPS1 going from 0 to 82° and in the means time voltage of TPS1 is always , i'd think , the voltage reading is not implemented , nothing to worry about .
0 to 82° or 0-100% looks correct
