Okay,
so I was able to read the ecu, I've gotten the license, did a TPS and Service Wrench reset... and now what What else can I do with this software? I've got no gas analyser or a CO measering tool.
Perhaps it's a very dumb question I'm asking, but please indulge me.
check if you have troubles codes ,reset the troubles codes..
the software is mainly usefull to identify the problems by testing components, and some minor ajustements as you did
you can try to adjust your co trimmer.
but i'd say , if you are happy with the bike , you shoudn't touch anything
The initial gas response is quite brutal. A minor touch of the gashandle, and the rpm jumps from idle to 3000rpm. I don't know if this is normal for a DS1000. I'm an experienced enough rider to control this with my clutch, but it would be nice is the gas reaction would be more subtle.
