System.OutOfMemoryException while trying to connect to my Hypermotard 821

Hi,
After clicking Connect, and a few seconds after Getting VIN step starts, I get "System.OutOfMemoryException" while trying to connect to my Hypermotard 821.
Ive tried 2 ELMs and 2 different laptops (both windows 11), Laptop is definitely not out of memory at that point.
Bike is on, without the engine running, port is correct, everything same as guides Ive seen where people got it to successfully connect.
Any ideas how to fix this?

what your windows system language ?
you may need to instal .net framework 4.8

Thanks for the quick response.
Windows display language is English (United States)
I gave .net framework a download, but says framework 4.8 or later is already installed

can you delete this version and donwload it again ?

Delete the melcodiag version and download again?
Also report it where?

when error will popup there will be more details with the new version (same number but newer)

Hm, ok I downloaded melcodiag again and tried with that version.
I still got the same error, but after pressing OK I got a new popup saying No Vin found, press YES if 2011, NO if 2012. Bike is 2013 but I clicked 2012
Then it showed connected and allowed me to send a license request, which I did just 5 mins ago.
I also had it write a report if it's of any use. I didnt see any other option to report something

im affraid you have an issue with the elm , or it's not connected to the right connector
