Hello,
I have tried few different high quality usb and Bluetooth elm cables.
When I connect via "any bike" software connects and shows vin and model (scrambler 1100).
Afterwards it tells me to use M3C and connect again, after I connect it doesn't show vin, model or ecu.
It doesn't let me register either, button disappears. Only thing which works is read dtc and nothing else.
Please kindly advise.

Hey man! I'm having the EXACT same problem. Same bike, same year, same size. I bought a VLinker FS USB cable (USB>OBD2 adapter) and a 4-pin cable from Amazon to adapt to the Duc connector.
Same exact issue as you, though.
When I'm connected on M3C, it outputs the following info in the MelcoDiag folder on my PC:

i guess you have no other elm for testing ?
i just tested with a vlinker bm+ , i get elm327 v2.2 version , the bd rate is 115200 (bluetooth model)
a bit lazy to get connected , but once it's connected it work like a charm
try with the v2.0.5.0 i just uploaded and let me if it's better
