Monster 2012 1100 evo connect problem

Hi, new Ducati owner. I have a 2012 Monster 1100 evo, which has an idle problem. I've downloaded Melcodiag and it seemed to connect to my bike. It read the ecu and let me request a license, When I try and do any resets such as TPS, nothing happens, Do I need to install this license to make it work correctly, I have no idea how to do that, Any help would be appreciated
