I read two things that make me some concerns:
1. "!MELCODIAG! If you have UMAP installed, unload it temporarily before reset"
2. that someone destroyed his ECU by sevice reste while the bik had an UMAP installed.
How do I know if a "dangerous" UMAP is installed?
My Bike History for the ECU so far I know - ( little bit different than others).
MTS1260 2019, (MY 2018)
Default factory Map (!!!): 74 kW (due to limitations of the first owner)
After I bought it:
Official update of Ducati Dealer to ~116kW (default power of all common MTS)
Incl. Ducati confirmation datasheet incl. new Ducati CoC document

Now: I wonder at melcodiag cause the ECU Info seems no clear characters - except the VIN, that is clear.
So my questions.
1. How do I know or detect if a "dangerous" UMAP is installed?
2. is this OEM_MAP of my dealer equal to an UMAP - cause after the factory the MAP was re-flashed once with the Ducati Map, the document says OEM_MAP?
3. Is there a potential risk to my bike by reseting the OIL service or some DTCs with melcodiag?
It would be great if someone can help me to answer these questions.

your ecu is not concerned with the UMAP issue .
the UMAP on 1st generation of bikes fitted with a melco ecu 2010 to 2013 i would say have risk to loose the the syncrhonisation with the racing map.
other bikes are safe
if you really have a 10sw software , i'm not sure the reset will works . it works on some 10sw models but not all.
but i don't see 10sw in the registration data you posted , so i presume you are using a too old melcodiag version , i'll see better if you use the debug report instead of registration data

OK, thank you a lot to reduce my concern. How i will get a newer Version of melcodiag? I Just downloaed IT frim the jpdiag.com Webpage. The Print Out IS from tge Ducati Dealer after his Update. Kindest regards

I have the Melcomdiag Version 2.0.4.8
Unfortunaly I was not able to reset the Annual service.

1: only old bike before 2015 are concerned , hard version ofen starting with J0
and hopefully only a few of them may have this problem
i separate ecu categories in 2 to reduce the risk
2: it's a bug i think manufacturer has solved now
it don't destroy ecu , it desynchronize the BBS ,ecu and dashboard.
the racing map is already loaded in the ecu but not visible, you buy a dongled called UMAP , this dongle will synch all the components to use the race map instead standard map.
you can switch to standard map again inserting the UMAP dongle again.
for an unknow reason ,the synch is lost when there is some dialog on the can bus and i still not find a way to resynch it again.
ecu will work on the std map and it'll be impossible to load the race map again cause the dash will say you already have it
so it's safer to desynch the race map inserting the dongle before atempting to diag the bike
and hopefully only a few of them may have this problem
