Cable connection error Ducati Streetfighter 848

Hello, I have been trying to register for the software however when I plug up the diag tool to my bike and run the software I keep getting a CAN error check cable. I tried the same cable on 2 other bikes and it works just fine. Can someone explain what the issue might be?

can you tell what cable you use ?
and confirm you are using jpdiag too , not melcodiag
you can't proceed with the registration untill you fix the communication problem
