Hello,
I am riding a 2025 Ducati Streetfighter V2 and am not sure if the latest Melcodiag should/will work to perform a service reset? I am able to connect and can see all my ECU info, VIN, etc. and have tried the Service 0 and Service 1 resets without success. I am at approx. 1400 km and get a banner at key on that says I am 400 km past service, service icon bottom left of TFT, and flashing tach display when RPM is over 6000.
Like many of you I suspect, I have done all my basic service on my bikes for over 50 years and the lack of a simple owner reset sequence is in my opinion the only flaw in an otherwise fantastic motorcycle.
I thought I would post here prior to contacting the developer. Thanks for any ideas or suggestions.

Re: Service reset 2025 new 890 V2 models?
I'm having the same issue on my 2025 Panigale V2, I can connect to the bike and I've ran the Service Interval, Annual service 0 and Annual service 1 but with no success to reset the Service warning or the banner.
It seems to not be reading some info properly as well, ECU appears as N/A and some values are not correct (Milage is much lower than real and RPM shows 8000 when the engine is not even turned on)
Should it be like this or did I do something wrong?

I confirm that on 2.0.5.2 DTC seemed to run fine when I tried it.
I'll gladly keep trying as the software get updated and test different things if you want to!
Anything so that we can fully do our own maintenance by ourselves.

Re: Service reset 2025 new 890 V2 models?
I have a similar issue with Multistrada 2024 V4.
Melco app seems to recognize my bike showing the correct VIN. Some specs are way off, like temps and mileage. When I click on Service Interval button or Annual Service 0 or 1 or change service date, the OBD II illuminates serious of lights, then I hear the beep on my laptop, but it does nothing. My bike still shows oil service required. For reference, my laptop has Windows 11.
Should I open a new thread or it's ok to continue here?

Re: Service reset 2025 new 890 V2 models?
I have additional information and a debug log from my 2024 Multistrada V4.
MelcoDiag: 2.0.5.2
ELM: ELM327 v1.4, FT232RL / PIC18F25K80
Bike: Ducati Multistrada V4, model year 2024
MelcoDiag connects and reads the VIN correctly:
ZDMAALVWXRB015644
However, it automatically detects the bike as Multistrada V4 2022, while the selected/user bike is Ducati Multistrada V4 / 2024
ECU information:
ECU = N/A
Hardware = DU_QDXA0
Software = DN2LT000533
The live data is also decoded incorrectly. With the engine OFF, MelcoDiag shows approximately:
RPM = 8200
Engine temperature = 200°C
Ambient temperature = -40°C
Mileage = 6266 km
The debug report shows 13 active PIDs.
I am trying to reset the Oil Service using the Service Interval button. The command appears to be transmitted — the ELM LEDs show activity and the motorcycle reacts — but the service warning remains on the dashboard.
I also tried the Annual Service reset functions, but the warning was not cleared.
The debug report shows:
OilService = NO
DesmoService = NO
I have attached the complete MelcoDiag.exe.debug.txt file.
Could you please check whether DU_QDXA0 / DN2LT000533 is supported and whether the service-reset command/sequence needs to be changed for this ECU?
If you need additional CAN/PID data or specific tests from the motorcycle, I can provide them.
Thank you!

I just tried. Unfortunately, it didn't help.
